Cease and Desist Letter
A template for creating a cease and desist letter to send to debt collectors.
How to use the template
- Download the cease and desist letter. If you need to download a PDF viewer, Adobe Reader may be downloaded for free here.
- Copy the text of the letter into your own document.
- Write in your name and address.
- Write in the collector’s name and address.
- Date the letter.
- Print out the letter and sign it.
- Keep a copy for your records.
- Send by U.S. Mail.
